it started
Sometime in 2014, I bought my first full-suspension bike and, with a friend, started visiting Czech bike parks. Since I had already been working as a designer for several years, the opportunity to try designing our own jerseys was a natural fit. After the first batch of jerseys quickly sold out among our friends, the best pub idea was born in 2015—our own brand!
Coming up with the name for the new brand cost us a few pints at Mayer's pub in Smíchov, but eventually, a simple question decided it all: What does biking mean to me? I imagined myself flying down a messy trail, not thinking about what could happen, being in a rush, and wanting more. Too High To Die.
The brand began to take clear shape. Our downhill team raced the revived Czech DH Cup in the same colours! We expanded our range to include new jerseys, shorts, and gloves for MTB. We moved our production to the Czech Republic.

Behind THTD is the desire to create something of our own and an addiction to mountain biking. I am constantly coming up with new designs, supporting promising riders, and providing jerseys for entire teams. Over the years, I have gained a lot of experience and I want to push things further. I am giving customers the opportunity to be as involved as possible in the jersey design process. And most importantly, I want to gain new brand advocates who are on the same wavelength.
